Tai M. Chung (Associate Professor, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea)
Prof. Tai M. Chung is an associate professor and the director of the Information Security Research Center at Sungkyunkwan University, Korea. He is also leading the Real-Time Systems Lab. at the university. Prior to this work he was a staff scientist at Network Technology Department of BBN Labs, USA where he developed Automated Network Management. Before then he was with Waldner & Co. in USA as systems manager. He received his Ph.D. degree from Purdue university, majoring in Computer Engineering. His research areas are information security management, network & QoS management, active network and Grid network management. Currently he takes positions of the Chair of Consortium of CERT, the chair of information & communication SIG, and a board member of Korea Information Processing Association. He is also a senior member of IEEE and an active member of KNOM. He has served as the technical program chair of APNOMS 2000 and program committee member for previous 5 years.

Salah Aidarous (Director, Product Planning, NEC America, USA)
Salah Aidarous, Director of Product Planning at NEC America, has been working in telecommunications networks planning and development for over 25 years. His current assignment is managing future networks including 3G wireless and IP-based networks. Prior to NEC America, he worked for Nortel Technology (formerly Bell Northern Research) on network planning, introduction of new technologies in transport and switching networks, network and service management requirement specifications, interoperability standards, and process re-engineering. He participated in the planning and development of several products for Nortel Networks, Bell Canada, and Telecom Canada (now Stentor). He has been involved in several projects with service providers in North America, South America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile), and Japan. Salah Aidarous has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, and held various academic positions at Ain Shams University, Carleton University and University of Ottawa. In addition to teaching and supervision of graduate researchers, he was principle investigator for several research grants and contracts in digital mobile radio, CATV, expert systems technology, and published over 100 papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings. Salah is Senior Editor of IEEE Network Magazine, ComSoc Editor for Internet Computing Magazine, and member of the JSAC Editorial Advisory Board. He is co-editor/author of "Network Management Into the 21st Century", "Telecommunications Network Management: Technology and Implementation", and co-editor of the IEEE Press/Wiley Series on Network Management. He chairs the Technical Committee on Network Operations and Management (CNOM), and is a ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer.

Peter Buckner (Chief Technology Officer, TCSI, Inc, USA)
Mr. Buckner is a 20-year veteran of the telecommunications software industry with over 15 years at TCSI developing management systems for equipment providers and service providers. These systems have covered the gambit from small DSLAM EMS to huge satellite cellular OSS. As Chief Technology Officer with TCSI, Mr. Buckner oversees the development of new OSS frameworks and participates directly in the application of these new frameworks to building applications and delivering solutions. Prior to joining TCSI, Buckner held an engineering position with AT&T Bell Labs. Mr. Buckner holds a MS Computer Science degree from Stanford University and a BA in Economics from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

Graham Chen (Director of Technology, EPAC Technologies, Australia)
Dr. Graham Chen is the Director of Technology, EPAC Technologies Pty Ltd, an Australian IT technology consulting and service company supplying to Telco market in Asia Pacific region.Prior to this, Graham was the Chief Technology Officer of CiTR until early 2002. Graham had extensive software development, R&D management and business/technology consulting experience in the past 12 years in telecommunication network and service management and distributed systems area. He was responsible for CiTR's technology and product strategy and led CiTR's Advanced Technology Development program. Graham worked on a large range of commercial product developments, software solutions and consulting projects for CiTR's major clients.Prior to joining CiTR, Graham worked on various academic positions in British and Australian universities.Graham is an active member of international research community. He is a regular speaker and committee member in a number of leading international conferences in the telecommunication management area. He has published widely and recently published a book in the IEEE Network Management Series: ¡°Integrated Telecommunication Management Solutions¡±.Graham received his PhD in Computer Science from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K. in 1986, BSc degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University, China in 1982.

Wonhee Sull (Vice President, Platform R & D Center, SK Telecom, Korea)
Dr. Wonhee Sull is responsible for development and operation of mobile Internet service platform and various services ranging from multimedia to m-commerce. He received B.S. from Seoul National University, M.S. from University of Michigan in Computer Science and Ph.D. from Purdue University in Computer Engineering. Prior to joining SK Telecom, Dr. Sull was a research assistant professor at the University of Miami, a senior engineer at GE Medical Systems and a senior member of technical staff with MCC.His interest areas include pervasive computing, multimedia systems, component based platform architecture, and service QoS.

Makoto Takano (Senior Manager, R&D Center, NTT West, Japan)
Makoto Takano is a senior manager at R&D center, NTT West Corporation in Japan. From April 1986, when he joined NTT Electrical Communication Laboratories, he had been mainly engaged in research and development of PABX, ATM-LAN, and network management systems, especially in research of the application of the control theory to the control of communication networks. Currently, he is responsible for OSS strategy planning and development of various operation support systems mainly for IP related telecommunication services. He received the B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in system engineering from Kobe University, Hyogo Japan, in 1984, 1986, and 1994, respectively.
