Title:
NAS-NMS
Abstract:
NAS-NMS is operation & maintenance system for NAS(Network
Access Server) which connects ADSL access network and
KORNET network. By using NAS-NMS, network resource can
be distributed efficiently and real-time fault detection
and analysis of NAS itself are possible. Therefore,
service quality is improved by these NAS fault detection
and analysis. NAS-NMS has centralized control of various
types of NAS equipment (Assured, Unisphere, Shasta,
Redback) and GES(Gigabit Ethernet Switch) which is connected
to NAS. Before NAS-NMS deployment, only partial control
and monitoring was possible using vendor provided software.
NAS-NMS has basic functions such as, NAS configuration,
fault, performance management and various statistical
reporting to operator and internal customer of ADSL
central office, customer center (regional, national).

Microsoft
Title:
Microsoft solution for OSS
Abstract:
The Microsoft Solution for OSS enables service providers
to efficiently deploy, provision, bill and manage network
and application services by utilizing existing OSS investments
while adapting to customers needs. The OSS Solution,
based on BizTalk Server as the Enterprise Application
Integration tool, rejuvenates existing service provider
legacy environments. The Microsoft Solution for OSS
solution provides an efficient way for service providers
to create value-added services by integrating third
party and other Microsoft applications and helps service
providers to achieve, or exceed, their revenue and margin
growth objectives. Moreover, with the depth of Microsoft’s
applications, services, and partners, Microsoft is also
bringing revenue-generating content and .NET services,
such as Passport, Windows Media Services, etc. as part
of the OSS solution. Therefore, service providers can
leverage Microsoft’s OSS framework in addition to applications
and services from both Microsoft and our partners, enabling
service providers to deliver cost effective back-end
solutions as well as revenue generation premium services.
By implementing the Microsoft OSS platform solution,
service providers can position themselves to fully and
rapidly take advantage of .NET Web services as those
services become available.

Title:
nFRAWorks™
Abstract:
When you want to first bring MPLS TE and VPN technologies
into a real-world operational network, the first concern
might be on manageability and interoperability of routers
which are quite vendor-specific. Besides, it is also
a very hard problem to get a good rationale and fundamental
bases for inducing proper TE constraints for LSPs and
traffic trunks. Of course to do this, you at least need
to have a compact and powrful views of the target MPLS
network. Then, this is definitely when you need a centralized
server system that can provide various management, verification,
analysis and optimization functions for provisioning
MPLS TE and VPN with network operators. nFRAWorks™
not only manages policies for LSPs and traffic trunks,
TED (Traffic Engineering DB), per Interface & LSP
traffic statistics, network & routing topologies
and behavior, routing protocol information, but also
equips with path computation algorithm (CSPF) so as
to perform link/node failure simulation and global usage
optimization to meet given target TE goals.
