How to reach Jeju Airport: The final destination of your air travel is Jeju International Airport (airport code is CJU). However, you would most likely have a stopover at Incheon International Airport (ICN) before getting to Jeju. There are limited direct flights from Japan, China, and Hong Kong to Jeju Island. How to get to Jeju Airport via Kimpo (Gimpo) Airport: Some participants might find it hard to book direct flights from ICN to CJU. The best way is to go to Kimpo (Gimpo) Airport and take a domestic flight. There are flights from Kimpo to Jeju every 30 minutes (via Korean Air or Asiana). It takes about 40 minutes by airport limousine bus. Transferring between Incheon International Airport and Kimpo Airport needs your attention. The airport does not provide free shuttle service between the two airports. But there is convenient airport limousine service every 10 to 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The fare is 6000 KW, which is about $5. From Jeju Airport to the Seogwipo KAL Hotel in Seogwipo City: Airport Limousine shuttle bus (#600) is most convenient public transportation. It departs every 15 minutes from 6:20 to 22:00. Seogwipo KAL Hotel is the last stop. It takes approximately 90 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport. The one way fare is 4,700 KW (around $4) for adults, 3,700 KW (around $3) for 13 to 18 year-old teenagers and 2,300 KW (around $2) for children. The basic starting rate for the first 1 Km or so is 1,500 Won and increases 100 Won every few hundred meters thereafter.
