The 8th Asia-Pacific Network Operations and Management Symposium (APNOMS 2005) will be held in Okinawa, Japan from September 27 to 30, 2005. The theme of APNOMS 2005 is "Toward Managed Ubiquitous Information Society". Broadband networks and wide varieties of appliances progress in the ubiquitous networking technologies. Solutions for network/service operations and management play key roles for establishing our ubiquitous society. APNOMS 2005 will provide excellent opportunities for researchers, engineers, network planners, service providers and network operators in telecommunications to learn and share ideas, views, technologies and experiences on network/service operations and management.

Okinawa is a southern island of Japan. You can easily reach there by frequent flights from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka, also by direct flights from several Asian major cities. Okinawa Convention Center is located in 14km from airport and 10km from downtown.

Instructions for Authors:
All submitted papers should be written in English. The cover page should clearly include paper title, brief abstract, list of keywords, author(s) full name(s), affiliation(s) and complete address(es), telephone number(s) and e-mail address(es). Please state the name of the contact person. Paper submissions should consist of no more than 12 visuals with explanatory text accompanying each one. The format should have a visual in the upper half of a page and the explanatory text in the lower half. Please download a sample PowerPoint file from the symposium Web site and use it as a reference.
    - APNOMS 2005 paper submissions will be done electronically only.
    - Authors are requested to submit an electronic version of the paper (in Powerpoint) to the symposium Web site.
