The 8th Asia-Pacific Network Operations and
Management Symposium (APNOMS 2005) will be held in Okinawa, Japan from
September 27 to 30, 2005. The theme of APNOMS 2005 is "Toward Managed
Ubiquitous Information Society". Broadband networks and wide varieties of
appliances progress in the ubiquitous networking technologies. Solutions
for network/service operations and management play key roles for
establishing our ubiquitous society. APNOMS 2005 will provide excellent
opportunities for researchers, engineers, network planners, service
providers and network operators in telecommunications to learn and share
ideas, views, technologies and experiences on network/service operations
and management.
Okinawa is a southern island of Japan. You can
easily reach there by frequent flights from Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and
Fukuoka, also by direct flights from several Asian major cities. Okinawa
Convention Center is located in 14km from airport and 10km from downtown.
