- KT NeOSS

  NeOSS(New Operations Support System) is a new arrival in the concept of Next Generation Operations Support System that   manages the service   fulfillment and service assurance of approximately 210 services that KT provides through POTS,   broadband, WLAN, mobile telephony, and satellite   communication. In addition, it expands conventional boundaries of OSS   functionality in operation surveillance, maintenance, and repair as to a complete   range of KT network facilities, including phone   lines for 20 million subscribers as well as Internet connections serving 6 million customers.

- WiBro-NMS

  KT launched the commercial mobile broadband services as WiBro (Mobile WiMax) for the first time in the world on June in 2006.   WiBro enables users to   access the network even when they are traveling at speed of up to 120 km/h and promises lower   prices than those in the mobile telecommunication   (HSDPA, WCDMA, etc) KT WiBro-NMS (WiBro Network Management System)   has functions of service provisioning and integrated operations for the   WiBro network resources (WiBro ACR, RAS, Repeater,   L2 Switch, and EMS).

In BcN Service Research, we develop BcN core network and control technology for integrated services which manipulate communication and broadcasting converged service more efficiently. Also, we focus on the standardization of Open APIs and development of service platforms to help anyone developing various kinds of services easily by combining information and telecommunication technology. To promote BcN Service, the BcN Open Service Center provides service developer education courses and service idea competition programs to industry. BcN Open Service Center provides two chances of actual experiences about the converged service at APNOMS 2006. First, we will show advertisement media of BcN Open Service Center that express BcN Service introduction and BcN Open-Service-Center's roll with adequate examples. Second, we will provide visitors with actual experiences that developed service with Open API's:

  • Media Sharing Service: One person do consultation, education and meeting through same screen of other person's PC

Tangible IP Network Designer is a system that supports the collaborative design of IP networks by multiple designers. Based on the Tangible User   Interface platform called "Sensetable", this system allows users to control simulation parameters directly on the table. During a simulation, traffic flow, link   utilizations and service qualities of client nodes are projected as an animation. In addition, the traffic conditions of IP networks can be monitored on a 3D   display. Tangible IP Network Designer helps users to find an optimum design that balances between cost and performance.
