Instructions to Authors for Poster Session

The authors of paper accepted for the Poster Session should proceed following procedures.

1. Early-bird Registration (DEADLINE: July 22, 2006)

In order to be included in the APNOMS2006 proceedings, the presenter must register as FULL Early-bird registration, until July 22, 2006 (Different from camera ready submission deadline). Please check the APNOMS 2006 web page (http://www.apnoms.org/2006/) for the detailed registration information.

NOTE: Student presenter must also register at FULL rate.

2. Camera Ready Paper Submission (DEADLINE: August 3, 2006)

The paper must be written by Visual/Text format (use slide for visual and note for text) for poster papers. The page limit of your paper is eight (8) pages maximum. A sample camera-ready version paper is here. You can also obtain the sample manuscript file from apnoms-sample.ppt&pdf.

Important information

  1. Papers by LNCS format are not acceptable
  2. Do not use font smaller than 10pt!
  3. Use note field to put the text of the paper
  4. The first page should contain at least (1) title and (2) authors and their affiliations in slide, and (3) abstract in note.
  5. As a regular paper, the paper should be organized by sections with section number
  6. References are needed in the note of last slide

The final camera-ready manuscript must be PDF file (NOT PPT file), and must be sent by attaching the e-mail to both APNOMS 2006 Poster Co-Chairs until August 3, 2006. (NOTE: DO NOT use the JEMS to upload your final manuscript). Poster co-chairs' mail addresses are:

ID of your paper can be found in the notification mail when you submitted the paper. For example, if your paper ID is 10010 and your last name is Sample, the name of the file is 10010-sample.pdf.

ATTENTION: PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR POWERPOINT FILE: Your PowerPoint (ppt) file must be converted to PDF file prior to sending the final version. Please check your print setting before making the PDF file. To create Visual+Text format by Acrobat, you should select "Note Pages" for "Print what" drop-down list in the print dialog box. If you have any trouble about converting to PDF file, please ask poster co-chairs for further processing.

3. Poster Preparation

Poster session authors are expected to prepare PowerPoint hardcopy slides (preferrably in color) and use them in presenting in the poster session. Please click here for the detailed instruction for poster preparation.
