ABOUT APNOMS 2011

The 13th Asia-Pacific Network Operations and Management Symposium (APNOMS 2011) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from September 21 to 23, 2011. As we know, the Asia-Pacific region now forms one of the largest telecom markets in the world, and has become a global powerhouse for mass-market fiber access, including FTTH and FTTB. This takes many forms. For example, the deployment of next-generation networks (NGN) and the trial of fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) services are in progress. We expect to see more and more FMC and content-based services coming to the market. In addition, emerging technologies like LTE and WiMAX will support wireless broadband services within the next two years. In addition, research in the management and architecture of future Internet(s) is gaining increasing importance.

The rapid evolution mentioned above hinges on new network infrastructure, business and service models, and associated management platforms and architectures. APNOMS 2011 will encourage open discussions on technology alternatives that focus on the management and operation of current and future networks and services. In APNOMS 2011, the topics of interest include, but are not limited to, network & service management for broadband convergence networks, business operations & management, service-oriented managements (e.g., SLA/SLS, security, billing), management architecture and technologies, recent standardization activities, and various experiences & practices. The exhibitions in APNOMS 2011 will provide another very good place to demonstrate the high technology level of your solutions & products for efficient network analysis, operations and management of current Internet and future Broadband convergence Network (BcN).

EXHIBITION FACILITIES


A)  Booth

  • The maximum number of booths will be 12 and the choice of exhibition booth will be based on the FCFS (i.e., the order of registration).
  • Booth size will be 300cm (W) x 250cm (H).

B)  Table and Chair

  • Table size can be 100cm (W) x 50cm (D) x 75cm (H), 120cm (W) x 45 cm (D) x 75 cm (H), or 180 cm (W) x 60 (D) x 75cm (D).
  • One chair will be provided to each booth.

C)  LAN

  • An Internet connection will be provided via wireless access.

D)  Others

  • The Exhibitor’s manual including logistics information will be provided to the exhibitors.
  • You can arrange some equipment by contacting THCC (the conference venue). The list of available items and order instructions will be informed in the manual.
